Beginner through Advanced
9:30 to 11:30 am
With instruction  $28 per class   4classes/$100
Without instruction $10 per class

 Working with an instructor, you can create special classes for fun with friends....
  • with convenient times for a  group of 4 or more 
  • in media of choice; oil, acrylic, watercolor or pastel.....

    Mondays   

    • Beginning  Painting in Acrylic Mondays  Mornings 10 am - Noon  (Offered at this time through November 7 then will be moved to Thursday AM starting November 14)
      Instructor: Judith Reidy
      During this four week introductory class you will complete 4 small 9" x 12" paintings while learning about basic materials and techniques of acrylic painting.    See materials list
      $100/ 4 week course 
      Beginning  Painting in Acrylic Mondays  Mornings 
       
    • Painting in all Media  Monday Afternoon 1- 3 PM
      Instructor: Judith Reidy
      During this four week session you will have an opportunity to experiment with new directions in your favorite media.  Greater emphasis will be placed on focal point, composition, perspective, and advanced material usage.   Stand up Easel Appropriate chosen media and Light Clamp -materials at Student discretion.
      $100/4 week session Painting in all Media Monday Afternoon
    • Independent Study  Monday Afternoon 3:15-5:15 PM  
      Instructor: Judith Reidy
      For those that would like private lessons there are limited spaces available in this time slot.

      $200/4 week session Independent Painting Mondays Late Afternoon

    • Raven Art School Live Figure Drawing Session 6:30pm- 9pm There are live figure drawing  and sessions EVERY Monday from  6:30 -9 pm.  It is open to the serious artist public and is without an instructor.   Nude or  Live Staged  Portrait Character model 
      $10/evening session.

      Instructor: Judith Reidy
      During this four week introductory class you will complete 2 small 9" x 12" paintings while learning about basic materials and techniques of oil  painting:  Grisaille, the technique of the old masters and alla prima of the new masters.   See materials list
      $100/ 4 week course

    • Painting in all Media  Thursday Afternoon 1- 3 PM
      Instructor: Judith Reidy

    • Intermediate and Advanced Painting Thursday Evenings 6 - 8:30 pm
      Instructor: Lorin Willey
       For over two decades he has been inspiring students and professional artists with his energetic and enthusiastic approach to teaching and lecturing on the ways of art. His classes focus heavily on the individual artist’s development of creative and technical skills. Lorin coined his approach the “3-Cs”; Creativity, Craftsmanship, and Clarity of Intent. He has judged numerous regional art competitions, including several Wisconsin Regional Arts Program Exhibits and Plein Air events, and has lectured at many of Wisconsin’s Art Institutions including Wisconsin Painters and Sculptures, Wisconsin Pastel Society, the Waukesha County Arts League, the West Allis Artists Alliance, and the Kettle Moraine Pastel Artists to name a few. We are sure that you will find these classes inspiring and packed full of skill sets that will enhance your use of all the major tools for creating fine art.
      $140/ 4 week session
